Boston attacks the .50 cal!
April 13, 2006

Your rights to own .50 BMG (12.7mm) caliber rifles are under attack once again, this time in the city of Boston, Massachusetts and this time, because someone found 5.7mm pistol casings at the scene of an alleged crime.

Sound ludicrous? You bet. But the Boston City Council didn't let that stop them from signing away your rights.

(See the whole story at: http://news.bostonherald.com/localRegional/view.bg?articleid=133959)

What this is really, is the first move by the gun-ban crowd to eliminate ALL .50-caliber rifles in the state of Massachusetts, using Boston as a model. This is the same approach used in the California ban. Obviously, if one city stampedes into a "solution" for a non-existent problem, then the whole state must follow.

If you're a citizen of Massachusetts, particularly Boston, YOU are the only one that can stop the insanity.

Please contact the Mayor's office via letter, e-mail, fax, or by phone and respectfully request him to focus on real problems, not imagined ones.

Do it today.

While you're at it, please consider a contribution to help us fund these fights. If you've recently contributed, you have our appreciation. If not, please chip in. Your individual donations make these alerts possible.
